How much weight will an adhesive hook hold? The limit printed on the pack is verified on the assembled product with the supplied pad, and the surfaces it is specified for - tile, glass, painted plaster or laminate - are named on the pack.
Will the hangers break under a heavy coat? The load rating is verified with a load test at the point the hanger actually carries the weight, plus a flex test to check the plastic does not whiten or crack.
Will the coated steel rail or clothesline rust? Coated steel is checked on coating adhesion and on a salt-spray test, with stainless 304 as the upgrade route where corrosion resistance matters.

Are the mats and pads slip-resistant on a wet floor? Mats and pads are slip- and lay-flat tested on the assembled product, and the material is chosen for the surface the mat is sold for.
Are the soft PVC and foam items phthalate-free? Soft PVC and foam parts are covered by a material declaration with a phthalate check, and an odour check is run before packing.
